Watch Yourself 酷我

We wanted to turn things up a little bit with this release in dark and gritty way. We were looking for a heavy bass line sound and a stomping heavy vocal, something that we love, something epic yet straight forward when it came to that late dance floor feeling. DJ Glen was one of the few that came into our mind. Having releases on labels like My Favorite Robot, Electronic Petz, Mexa Records, Nastyfunk, Matter of Fact and Disclosure Crew among others. It was more than obvious to bring him aboard the label's sonical structure. Glen delivers two amazing tracks. Going solo mode with ''Watch Yourself'' giving us the ear candy and vision in music that we were thinking of exactly for this release. ''Great times'' with Vitor Munhoz on another hand is slower, yet playful with a serious sound, by serious, we mean a tight kick with a really cool gritty tom sound in it that plays along the track, fading vocals, jumping hi hats, wicked white noise sounds that give this track a unique feeling; something that you would like to play very early in the morning. The remix for this track comes from the hands, mind and musical soul from David Kassi, making ''Great times'' a bouncier one, the sawy bass line plays along wickedly with the unique vocal that makes it perfect for you to choose.
The ''Watch Yourself'' package comes delivered by some really cool remixes that we really enjoy listening to. The first remix for ''Watch Yourself'' comes from Boy Next Door, delivering an hypnotic groovy deep sound that kicks in from the first second in. A hypnotic lead starts fading the first 64 beats, giving this remix a special spacey sound , the bass line plays quite well along the playful spacey melody. He tweaks the vocal and uses a vocoder as a sample to play along with the original vox, cool indeed.
The second remix for this track comes from Mexican duo ''Nobody Knows''. As we venture at the sonic plethora of sounds that we encounter, we find a dissonant lead that kicks in with a chopped vocal sample that plays along with an epic bass line programming. The white noise and the lead all put together with the previous description makes it just perfect. Dark and gritty, but lush and groovy, perfect.
